About the Dallas Amateur Championship presented by Benchmark Bank
Founded in 2018 as an opportunity to showcase the championship pedigree of the historic Cedar Crest Golf Course, the Dallas Amateur Championship presented by Benchmark Bank quickly proved to be a resounding success and has become an annual tradition for amateur golfers across the region. Proceeds from the event benefit the I AM a Golfer Foundation whose mission is: to be a catalyst for community renewal and transformation in southern Dallas. More than 500 amateurs participate and attempt to qualify for the annual event culminating with the two-day championship at Trinity Forest Golf Club, former home of the PGA TOUR’s AT&T Byron Nelson.
