The I AM a Golfer Foundation is proud to celebrate an incredible accomplishment by junior golfer Kiara Harper, who captured the Girls 13-14 Division title at the UA Juniors Summer Nationals Tour. Representing the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, Kiara competed against a talented field of junior golfers and showcased the dedication, resilience, and championship mindset that define her game.
Over the course of 54 holes, Kiara remained focused and composed, finishing the tournament with impressive rounds of +2 and +1 on the final two days to secure the championship. Her performance is a testament to the countless hours of preparation and hard work she has invested both on and off the golf course.
Featured in the UA Summer Nationals broadcast, Kiara shared that it "felt great" to compete on such a big stage. She also spoke about one of her biggest priorities throughout the tournament was strengthening her mental game and making sure she stayed positive and enjoyed every round. That mindset proved to be one of the keys to her success, allowing her to stay confident through every challenge and embrace the experience from start to finish.
Behind every successful junior golfer is a village of parents, coaches, mentors, family members, and supporters who believe in their potential.
