• Inspiring Future Leaders Through Golf at Paul Quinn College's Kappa Kamp

On June 3, the I Am A Golfer Foundation provided free intro-to-golf classes at Paul Quinn College's Kappa Kamp event. It was an exciting day of learning about empowerment and new connections as we introduced campers to the game of golf and how golf can have a positive impact both on and off the green.

During the event, our team of coaches and interns connected with campers and shared lessons on discipline, persistence, leadership, and sportsmanship. While campers discovered new things, the interactive exercises and conversations fueled motivation, instilled the importance of goal-setting, and showed them how the sport can open new pathways in their lives, both educationally and professionally.

We were honored to work with the Kappa Kamp and Paul Quinn College and be a part of something that is truly empowering to the future of young leaders. Events like these help the I Am A Golfer Foundation fulfill its mission: to expose youth to golf and create new opportunities and pathways through golf, education, mentorship, and community involvement.

Thank you so much to the organizers, volunteers, mentors, and campers who came out to make our day such a huge success. We’re honored to help pave the way for future leaders in golf.
