Amazing summer Internship Program! We had the opportunity to hire 18 high school and college interns who took on roles at Cedar Crest Golf Course and the foundation, from Golf Operations to Marketing and Fundraising. 
Throughout the internship, the interns experienced working our annual and biggest fundraising event, the Dallas Amateur Championship. They also had the opportunity to attend different events like 'For Oak Cliff' and a Golf Clinic conducted by Cedar Crest coaches.
Throughout the 8-9 weeks of work, the interns were assigned various projects, one being the production of the 'Intern Video', which was led by two of our returning interns and leaders, Jamondra G. and Rachel M. Watch the video below. Another outstanding intern, Hector D., a rising senior at Austin College and first-time IAMGF intern conducted an Excel Course for interns and staff.
On Friday, August 5, we wrapped up our internship program and celebrated everyone's hard work by having our annual intern luncheon at the Woolworth in Downtown Dallas, which our interns planned and put together. During the luncheon, we recognized every intern for their work and awarded $30,000 in scholarships to 9 deserving interns.
