Tiana J.C. Jones
Tiana J.C. Jones, also known as "Queen of Green," has been playing golf since the age of 3 years old. She is the 7th African American woman to obtain her Class A, PGA Membership.
Tiana attended South Carolina State University, where she graduated at the top of her class magna cum laude. She was the captain of the women’s golf team. In 2012, she captured the PGA Minority College Championship, winning an exemption to play an event on the Symetra Tour. She went on to capture this title 3 more times while at South Carolina State University and 2 more times at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. In 2013, she captured seven out of the ten tournaments the school played in. Tiana's collegiate tournament experience lead her to be inducted into the African American Golf Hall of Fame, Ohio Sports Hall of Fame, Urban Icon Award, and more. She went on to the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, where she obtained her Professional Golf Management and Hospitality Tourism Management degree, graduating this program with the elite honors of Summa Cum Laude.
Tiana has always been very dedicated and hardworking when trying to achieve her goals. She does not let any obstacles get in her way; she perseveres and keeps working towards her dreams. She hopes to one day become a great general manager and a participating member on the LPGA. She is passionate about helping others learn the game of golf, her mission is to grow the game through youth, women, and diversity. She does not give up easily and dedicates her career to helping others find their way to the green one person at a time.
